31/3/2020 : Diary

This week we would like you to begin a diary. Remember how we read the dairy of Samuel Pepys, we are very lucky that he wrote a diary so that we know what it was like at the time of the Great Fire of London. Remember all the information we learnt for our class assembly and how important a diary is for the future?

Can you imagine what it would be like to read a diary from a Year 2 child explaining what it is like now during the Corona virus time? In 100 years time, someone might read your diary and know what it is like, how cool is that?

You could explain how you felt on the day we left school. What you do each day, what it is like learning at home. What does it feel like not being able to do the things you normally do? Have you started doing any different things.  How are you helping others at home or outside? You could try to use some of the spellings below.

If you have a notebook, write it in there or draw pictures of what you are doing and how you are feeling. We can look at them when we come back to school.
