24/3/2020 : The Snail and the Whale

Continue to think about the Snail and the Whale book we shared last week. You can watch the story on BBC iplayer. We thought about nouns and adjectives.

Write a list of nouns while watching and then think of an adjective to describe it, e.g blue whale. You can write your list of nouns and adjectives in your new writing book.

Write your own story based on the book. What amazing adventures will you go on like the snail? Use your helping hand to help you remember punctation and your word mat ensuring your letters are written correctly.

Phil Mcdermott the Storyteller and Will Green the Music teacher

Stories, songs and activities, are now available on YouTube and Twitter for children and loved ones to enjoy!

They know there is a lot of concern and worry about the time ahead for all of us, especially for our young children isolated at home from friends and families. They hope these stories and songs will make the time enjoyable, entertaining and educational for the children and their families.
