Easter Story Powerpoint to share.
School is now closed for the summer holidays. We hope you have a safe and relaxing break. Children return to school on Monday, 7th September 2020.
St Paul’s is receiving guidance from the Department of Health and Public Health England and we are planning accordingly. Current advice and any significant updates will be communicated via ParentLink.
Please visit our School Closure Resources tab where you can access the drop down menu for Home Learning.
Talk about our previous learning…
- What happened on Palm Sunday? Why did people think Jesus was very special?
- What happened at the Last Supper? Who was Jesus with? What did Jesus do?
- What happened on Good Friday and what does it teach us about Jesus?
Retell the story of Good Friday and then find out what happened on Easter Sunday.
Make your own little Easter Garden as the story goes along using things you have at home or you could make one in your garden using a simple tray of soil. Begin with 3 crosses, and talk about who these were for. Add a path of pebbles which shows the path that Jesus was taken on. Use larger stones to create a tomb.
Retell the story.
Resources provided by class teachers to support pupil education while the school is closed will be posted here.
Please refer to the weekly emails sent by teachers via ParentLink to parents / carers for details of activities and which resources from here are needed.
