Some chicks have arrived in school this week.  We have an incubator in which there were 8 eggs to start and today (Thursday) they started to hatch.  All the children are able to see the chicks in the incubator.  We all take it in turns in small groups so the chicks don’t get frightened.  We have to be very quiet.  The incubator is kept at 37.7 degrees C which helps the eggs to hatch and keep the chicks warm when they are eventually hatched.

It is so exciting to see the chicks and they look very cute.
