Christingle services

A reminder that our Christingle services take place on Monday at St Paul’s church. Reception and KS1 children should be picked up from church at 3.10pm.

The KS2 service starts at 6.00pm. Please make sure long hair is tied up for safety reasons.

Donations to The Children's Society for Christingle can be made here.

A reminder from Reception

If you have any items that you would be able to donate for our outdoor area, we would be hugely grateful. I'm sure we can find a use for things that you may be about to dispose of. We are particularly in search of:

  • Tyres
  • Empty cable reels/drums
  • Wood chippings
  • Curtains/nets (ideally with a pole)
  • Pots/pans/colanders/large wooden or plastic spoons
  • Any wooden shelving units you may be throwing away
  • Pallets

Many thanks for your support!

Thank you for all of your support in the work we have been doing with different charities in the local community.

Reception Theatre Trip

Last week, Reception went on their first school trip! They went on a coach to the Arts Depot Theatre to watch ‘Dear Santa’. They enjoyed the show very much and behaved very well.

Year 2's 'Christmas Experience' at Enfield Community Church

Last week year 2 visited Enfield Town Community Church to take part in the 'Christmas Experience', in which they experienced a walk-through experience, meeting the characters from the story of Jesus’ birth.'

The trip linked to our current RE topic, 'How does the symbol of light help us to understand the meaning of Christmas for Christians?'

During the trip the children also visited Enfield’s War memorial, linking to the children's History unit on ‘Remembrance’ last term.

The Choir's visit to the Hugh Myddleton Care Home

On the 8th of December our wonderful choir made up of year 4, 5 and 6 children visited Hugh Myddelton Care home to sing some Christmas songs to the residents. They all sang so beautifully and the residents enjoyed the performances. Well done to the choir!  This was our second visit to the care home this term, the residents were excited to see the children once again.
