Mrs Mills
We are sad to be saying goodbye to Mrs Mills, who is leaving our support staff team after over 10 years of working at St Paul’s. Throughout her time here, she has worked across various year groups and supported numerous children. We extend our heartfelt thanks for her time, care and commitment not just as a staff member, but also as a parent of our school community.
Harvest
A recent highlight was welcoming Bishop Anderson to school for our Harvest service. The Bishop was given a tour of the school by some of our Year 6 children and enjoyed finding out more about life at St Paul’s.
School lunches
Please make sure you are selecting your child’s lunch before they come into school each day. This helps the kitchen to have the correct amount of food available.
Jewellery
No jewellery other than stud earrings and a watch may be worn to school.
I have noticed a number of children wearing hooped earrings. Please can you make sure these are not worn to school.
Thank you
We are very grateful for your generous donations to the North Enfield Food Bank. This initiative not only supports a worthy cause but also helps the children understand local community issues and embodies our Christian values.
Black History Month theme day lunch
We will be holding a special theme day on Thursday 16th October as part of our Black History Month celebrations. The menu will consist of tasty dishes from Africa and the Caribbean which we hope the children will enjoy.
Please note that Taylor Shaw have advised us that all meals for the week will need to be re-ordered.

Reception have enjoyed celebrating World Space Week this week! We have discovered how craters came to exist on the Moon using a stones and flour experiment. We have also enjoyed making space rockets, moon buggies and jets with a variety of different classroom toys and resources.

Step 3….BLAST OFF!
Year 1
In English, the children have been exploring the features of Traditional Tales.
What did Little Red Riding have in her basket? A jam sandwich for Grandma, of course!
The children followed instructions carefully and made a jam sandwich of their own. The final step was to eat it!

Year 3 and 4
Year 3 and 4 children have loved getting stuck into their swimming lessons this term! They’ve been building their confidence in the water, learning different strokes, and practising how to stay safe while swimming. It’s been brilliant to see so many smiles and so much progress already — well done, everyone!

Year 4
This week, Year 4 have been learning all about the fascinating world of the Anglo-Saxons. The children became history detectives as they set out on a mission to uncover the identity of the person buried in the mysterious “ship grave.” They learned about Basil Brown and his incredible find in Edith Pretty’s garden in 1939! Using our World and British History Timeline, the children looked for clues and examined artefacts to piece together who the ‘ship grave’ could have belonged to.

Year 6
Year 6 had an exciting visit to the RAF Museum, where they stepped back in time in the Wartime Classroom and learned what life was like during WWII. They also enjoyed identifying different aeroplanes and discovering their roles in history - a truly memorable day of hands-on learning!
