Macmillan Coffee Morning

Thank you so much for supporting our Coffee Morning last month.  We were able to donate £882 to the Macmillan charity to help people living with cancer.

A Reminder

A reminder to please ensure your child's property is named. Each breaktime, we have a collection of coats and jumpers left outside with no names. Staff will try to match these up with the right child, but a clear name makes this much easier. This also applies to water bottles, lunch boxes and anything that your child brings in from home.

Christmas Post

If they’d like to, children may post their Christmas cards to classmates and friends in the school via our Christmas postbox. The post box will be in the entrance hall from Monday 1st December. There will be regular collections and deliveries by children in Year 6. Please make sure envelopes are clearly marked with the recipient’s name and class to help the sorting office! Although a lovely thought, please make sure no sweets/chocolates are put in envelopes.

Thank you

Thank you to the FOSPS and all of those who volunteered at the recent Christmas fair. It takes such a lot of time and hard work to make an event like the fair happen, we are very lucky to have such a supportive PTA in the FOSPS.

Thank you to the choir who sang beautifully at the start of the event and to Mrs Smith and Miss Lundy who helped them prepare.

Christmas Dates

Please make sure you check the communication sent out alongside the newsletter in regard to all the Christmas events which are planned over the next few weeks.

Christingle Services

Our Christingle services take place this year on the 15 December at St Paul’s church. The Reception and KS1 service starts at 2.30pm with the KS2 service taking place at 6pm. More information to follow.

We are seeking volunteers to provide oranges or sweets for our Christingle celebration. If you're able to contribute, please contact the school office – your support would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help?

We have a smallish tear in the stage curtains which needs to be repaired before the Christmas production takes place. Please let the school office know if you would be able to help mend the curtains.

Thank you!
