Extra Club Autumn Term Newsletter 2026

As you are now aware, we have started to use Arbor as our school’s main MIS system. We are using Arbor for the Extra Club, so sessions for Breakfast Club and After School Club are shown on your child/ren’s Arbor App or Portal. Here you can see your child’s bookings, make additional bookings (pending availability) and pay for your sessions. Please note that sessions can not be cancelled. If it has been made in error, I will cancel this for you, but any regular sessions your child attends, we will require a month’s notice to cancel.

ADHOC Bookings

I am now printing a daily register for staff, so that they can see which children are booked into Extra Club each evening.

If you are unsure whether a booking has gone through, please email the extraclub@st-pauls.enfield.sch.uk for confirmation.

Making Bookings on Arbor

Booking via the Parent Portal

Scroll down to the Activities section on the main page.

Click on the field showing your child's name and Clubs.

Look under the Clubs open to (Child's Name) list and select the relevant wraparound club (After School Club or Breakfast Club).

Click Register For This Club in the top right-hand corner.

Choose your required membership period (Breakfast Day of After School Club Day) and select the times or dates you need.

Confirm your registration, then pay or add the total to your basket to complete checkout.

Booking via the Parent App

Open the Arbor app on your phone and tap the menu icon at the bottom left.

Select Clubs to view a list of clubs open to your child.

Tap the specific wraparound club to open the Club Overview.

Tap Register For This Club.

Select the membership period (breakfast Club Day or Extra Club Day), choose your required session dates/times, and add the amount to your basket to pay.

How to Make Payments for Extra Club

Steps to Top Up via App or Portal

Tap the menu icon (three lines) or select Payments from your quick actions.

Select the account you want to fund (Extra Club).

Click the green Top up account button.

Select the bill payer.

Enter your payment amount (minimum £2).

Add an optional narrative note (like Breakfast or After School Club).

Click Pay now or use Apple Pay / Google Pay if available.

Complete the secure Stripe checkout and bank verification if prompted.

Arbor Teething Problems

Just to let you know, that there has been an issue with October bookings going live on Arbor. As you know, I like to add the following month's sessions by about 15th/16th of the previous month. I did do all the bookings last Thursday, but Arbor has had a 'blip' and they are not showing anywhere. I have reported the issue, and they are working to sort out the problem. I do apologise for the delay and will continue to pester them until the problem is sorted. I will send an email and an In-App message to everyone once we are ready for you to access the October sessions.

Late Payments

Please make sure that payments are received for bookings ahead of your child attending their sessions as per our t&c's.

We are spending a lot of time chasing payments throughout the month, so that we can start getting the following month's sessions live on the system.

It is advisable to top up your funds, even if paying with vouchers, so there is always enough money in your child's Extra Club account.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

To all new parents:

Please can you email pictures to extraclub@st-pauls.enfield.sch.uk of all adults (including parents) who are authorised to collect your child/ren from the Extra Club. Not only from a safeguarding point of view, but this helps new staff recognise new / different adults on collection. There are still a number of current parents/carers who have not yet provided a photo of the adults authorised to collect children from the Extra Club. Please email this ASAP – thank you!

Children with Allergies

We are aware that some of our Extra Club members do have severe allergies. These children will wear a lanyard when they line up for their snack. If this is the case, we advise parents to provide a snack for their child. We do our best to supply alternatives, but unfortunately there are occasions when Sainsbury's is unable to deliver our requests. If you have any concerns relating to the snacks given, please let us know.
