FOSPS Disco

Thank you to the FOSPS and staff who helped to make the KS1 and KS2 discos last week such fun for the children.

Thank you!

Thank you for the generous donations received last week to help those who are suffering in Turkey and Syria after the devastating earthquakes.

Between St Paul's and St Andrew's our schools have raised an impressive £4,130.50, and we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your contributions.

A Prayer for Turkey & Syria

Heavenly Father, our hearts are moved by the effects of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The grief felt by families who have lost loved ones, or await news of loved ones, is unimaginable. We turn to you, God of all comfort, and ask that you be close to people in the days ahead and that they might know your peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen

Parking near the school site and considerate road use

Once again, we have received a number of complaints from the school’s neighbours, regarding inconsiderate, and often illegal, parking by parents accessing the school in the mornings and afternoons. This includes parking across private driveways and on double yellow lines. We are usually supplied with photographs of the offending cars so we are able to identify them. Please make sure you park with consideration of others to help keep positive relationships with the local community.

Nits

Please check your child's hair for nits and treat appropriately.

Fire! Fire!

To conclude our history unit based on ‘The Great Fire of London’, Year 2 children watched as their Tudor Houses caught fire! The houses were packed closely to help recreate the housing conditions during 1666. Children were astonished how quickly the fire spread across their creations!
