Goodbye Mrs Ramage and Mr Arrugaeta

We say goodbye to Mrs Ramage today. She will be missed by us all, and we wish her well in her future career.

Sadly, Mr Arrugaeta is also leaving us today. Buena suerte! Te echaremos mucho de menos!

A reminder that children return to school on Monday 4 September

Goodbye Year 6!

The last week of the summer term belongs to our Year 6 children. On Tuesday we had the Year 6 Leavers’ Service at church, thank you to Fr Daniel for this lovely service. Today we have had the Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly, thank you to the staff who worked so hard to make sure these last events provided a memorable backdrop to these final primary school days for our Year 6 pupils and which we hope they will remember fondly as they embark on their new journeys.

Year 6 Leavers' retiring collection

This year we are collecting for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, in memory of one of our year 6 parents who tragically lost her battle with cancer last year. If you would like to donate please click here.

Housepoint winners

Compton have won this week and are also the overall winners for the term!  Congratulations and well done to Compton!

Thank you FOSPS

Thank you to the FOSPS for all their hard work and dedication during the year. Without their support the children would not benefit from the wonderful extra resources we are lucky to have at St Paul’s. We have a very exciting project to launch in September, please look out for further information at the start of the Autumn term.

School Street

We still need volunteers to help on a gate as part of the School Street. We particularly need help on a Wednesday and Thursday.

"Dream on"

The school production of “Dream on” was amazing! The children worked extremely hard, they put so much effort and energy into learning their lines, the songs, practising their dances and working as a team to pull it all together in a very short space of time.

Thank you to all of the staff who worked so hard with the children to make the production such a success.

For this year’s production we arranged for a professional videographer to capture your child’s shining moment(s) on stage. The link to purchase a copy of the video can be found by navigating to the payment item “KS2 Production July 2023 Video” and purchasing a copy for £15.  Once the school has received the video, and we have received your payment we will send you a video link.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the school office if you have any queries.

Thank you

Thank you for all the generous gifts the staff have received today.

Social media announcement

Exciting news for September! We will be launching our Twitter and Instagram pages when the children return for the Autumn term. These channels will be an avenue for the school to showcase the great work going on across the curriculum through the year groups. We hope you will be as excited about this addition to our communication streams as we are. More details to follow in September!

Edible garden

Thank you so much to Mrs Naylor, Mrs Groves, Mrs Gunn and Mrs Harbott who have worked so hard to make our edible garden such a wonderful calm area. We really need some more volunteers to keep the garden going in September. Please let the office know if you are able to help.
