Curriculum information

Please make sure you read your child’s year group curriculum information leaflet which can be found on the school website. The leaflet is a good way to find out what your child will be learning this term and how they can be supported at home.

School lunches

Please ensure your child has chosen their lunch before they come to school each day. I am aware that there have been some issues with lunches this week and I am working closely with Taylor Shaw to ensure improvements are made.

Census Day

Thursday 5 October is national School Census Day.  We would be very grateful if your child had a school lunch on this day as it impacts on our funding.

Harvest Festival

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Harvest Festival on Tuesday at St Paul’s Church. The children read and sang beautifully. Thank you to Father Daniel and Father Pete for leading the service.

North London Foodbank will be collecting donations at the end of next week. As always, a heartfelt thank you for your generosity.

Individual photos/sibling photos

A reminder that individual and sibling photographs will take place on the 16 October.

Garden news! - We need help!

We are planning some changes to our Memorial Garden.

The children are working so very hard on our gardens, but there are some jobs that are just too big for them.

To help create a more child and wildlife friendly space in our Memorial Garden we need adult helpers to come together for a couple of hours one Saturday morning (date tbc).

If you can help with our Memorial Garden project, please contact Mrs Naylor/Mrs Groves through the school office.

We also need volunteers to help in the garden on a regular basis.

Volunteers will help children to experience our outdoor areas by growing food in our edible garden and tending to the planted spaces around our school.

No experience is necessary.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mrs Naylor/Mrs Groves through the school office.

Year 6 House Captains

Well done to all the Year 6 children who shared some fantastic thoughts as to why they should be chosen as House Captains this year. The application letters and speeches were of a very high standard. We will be announcing our new House Captains on Monday.

Midday Supervisors

We are looking to recruit new midday supervisors. If you know anyone who may be interested in this role, please ask them to contact the office for further information.

Break Time Snacks

If you send in a snack for your KS2 child to eat during break time, please make sure that it is a fruit or vegetable only.  Please do not send in sweets, chocolates, cake bars etc.

Personal Development

We continue to focus on the children’s personal development. There are a number of displays around the school to support children in this area.
