Homework Procedures

Homework will be given on Fridays and should be handed in by the following Wednesday.

Spelling – spelling words will be given out on a Friday. A test will be given the following Friday.

Reading – children should be reading to an adult at least three times a week and also should be engaging with a wide range of other texts. A brief comment should be recorded in the reading record at least once per week. Please ensure school reading books and reading records are always in the reading folders at school every day.

PE Guidelines

Outdoor Games is on Wednessdays, however PE kits are expected to be in school every day.
Please ensure every item of clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Earrings should be removed or covered with tape.

Educational Visits

The children will be visited by St Peter’s Church and we will be visiting Epping Forest (dates tbc).

How can you help?

Please provide your child with a large glue stick with their name on it. Please be aware that these will be used frequently,  so will need to be replaced when necessary. It may be useful for your child to keep a spare glue stick in school.
A box of tissues should be sent in each term.
